A weekly get together at Hare Hill House for elderly and isolated people looking for friendship and company.
The Meet Up programme was initiated by Link for Life in February 2017 with a pilot programme funded for 10 weeks. MoorEnd Trust has continued to deliver the weekly programme having secured additional funding from Link 4 Life, Comic Relief; Heywood Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group, Forever Manchester (Community Development Foundation), Co-op Community Fund, Yorkshire Building Society, Power to Change, Postcode Lottery and the National Lottery and IKEA programme Places Call Home.
With the support of Power to Change and Comis relief the project continued to support our participants throughout the pandemic, with weekly social media posts, activity packs and monthly newsletters.
