Who Are We?
“MoorEnd Development Trust was established in March 2003 by people who live in the Pennines area of Rochdale as a means of taking forward projects of benefit to the Pennines Township community; this includes the wards of Littleborough Lakeside, Milnrow and New Hey Smallbridge & Firgrove and Wardle and West Littleborough, wards of Rochdale Council. The Trust attained charitable status in 2006 and in 2024 became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Charity number 1115997).
The MoorEnd Development Trust is managed by a Trust Board of 9 volunteer trustees.
Locally accountable, our mission is to improve and develop the area for everyone improving the quality of life. We do this by identifying what people in the area need and try by working in partnership with others, develop schemes and projects that will secure the desired impact.”
