Making space for good things to happen across the Rochdale Pennines.
We're a community charity rooted in Littleborough, Milnrow, New Hey, Wardle and Smallbridge — reviving historic buildings, supporting local businesses and bringing neighbours together.
Four projects. One mission.
Everything we do is led by local volunteers and shaped by the people who live here. Explore our work across the Pennines Township.
A charity run by the Pennines, for the Pennines.
MoorEnd Development Trust was set up in 2003 by residents who wanted more say over projects affecting our neighbourhood. We attained charitable status in 2006 and became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2024.
Today, a board of nine volunteer trustees works in partnership with local groups, councils and funders to deliver projects that would otherwise never happen.
